Pagtatayo ng BARTC, isinusulong ng SP

PBATANGAS City – PINAGTIBAY na ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) ang isang resolusyong lilikha Batangas Arts Recreational Tourism Complex (BARTC) – o pagtatalaga ng isang pasilidad na magiging sentro ng mga programang pangsining, recreational at panturismo ng Lalawigan ng Batangas.

Sa regular na sesyon ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan, inihain ni 5th District Board Member Arthur Blanco ang Resolution Endorsing and Adopting the Batangas Arts Recreational Tourism Complex (BART-C) of the Provincial Government of Batangas na nagkakaisa namang ay nagkakaisa namang inaprubahan ng mga miyembro ng konseho.

Bago ang aksyong ito ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ay hiniling ni Gobernor Hermilando I. Mandanas sa kapulungan na pagtibayin ang resolusyon kaugnay ng pagtatayo ng development complex sa bakanteng loteng pag-aari ng pamahalaang panlalawigan sa timog-silangang panig ng kapitolyo.

Saklaw ng bubuuing Batangas Arts Recreational Tourism Complex ang kasalukuyang community park at ang panukalang amity tower na kapapalooban naman ng malaking convention center, residential condominium, hotel at iba pang recreational and tourism facilities na magiging pangunahing multi-use facilities ng probinsya.

Saad pa sa resolusyon ni Bokal Blanco, kailangan ng lalawigna na magkaroon ng sariling tourism development complex na inaasahan namang magbibigay rin ng dagdag na trabaho sa mga Batangueno at makakatulong sa larangan ng turismo na makapagtataas ng ekonomiya ng lalawigan.

Kasama ni Blanco na nag-akda sa resolusyon si Vice Governor Mark Leviste at Senior Board Member Ma. Claudette Ambida.|Joenald Medina Rayos at Renz Belda
