2 patay, 13 sugatan sa pamamasyal na nauwi sa trahedya

LEMERY, Batangas — NAUWI sa isang malagim na trahedya at nag-iwan pa ng dalawang patay ang sana’y masayang pamamasyal ng magkaka-anak sa isang theme park sa Barangay Mayasang, bayang ito noong Martes, Mayo 8.

Batay sa ulat ng Lemery Municipal Police Station kay PSSupt. Edwin A. Quilates, paakyat sana sa may matarik ng bahagi ng kalsada sa bisinidad ng Fantasy World Amusement Park ang sinasakyan ng grupong Isuzu Jitney nang magka-aberya ito at mawalan ng kontrol ang drayber kaya umatras muli ang sasakyan hanggang sa bumulusok sa bangin na may 12-metrong lalim.

Patay ang dalawang pasaherong nakilalang sina Mel Jansen Aspi, 30, at Victoria Bermoy, 57, kapwa residente ng Queens Row Subd., Barangay Molino III, Bacoor, Cavite

Kaagad namang isinugod sa Metro Lemery Medical Center at Batangas Provincial Hospital, kapwa sa bayang ito ang 13 sugatan kabilang ang isang 3-buwang sanggol na nakilalang sina Jubelyn Villanueva, 33; Juvhern Villanueva, 8; Jhelyra Villanueva, 5; Helen Megan Aldos, 29; Tom Bermoy, 63; Carlisle Severus Aspi, 4; Tom Daniel Bermoy, 3 months old; Natividad Agualada, 61; April Aspi, 32; Baby Jean Casuno, 14; Ariane Aldos, 28; at Manel Casuno, 22.

Sugatan din ang drayber ng Jitney na may plakang ADN-7022 na nakilalang si Hernando Villanueva.
