Pueblo de Oro, August Energy NetZero forge long-term solar energy partnership

Must read

PUEBLO DE ORO Development Corporation (PDO), the residential development arm of the ICCP Group, has recently partnered with August Energy NetZero Inc., a leading provider of renewable energy solutions. The partnership marks a significant milestone in PDO’s ongoing commitment to sustainable development across its communities.

Under the agreement, August Energy NetZero Inc. will install rooftop and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic systems across PDO’s sites initially in Cagayan de Oro and Malvar, Batangas. The installations will deliver a combined capacity of nearly 200 kilowatt-peak (kWp).

The agreement encompasses solar installations in Pueblo de Oro’s township in Cagayan de Oro, including the clubhouse of the Pueblo de Oro Golf & Country Club (Pueblo Golf), The Hub commercial center, and portions of the open area in Westwoods Village, as well as at the Sales Office Building of Pueblo de Oro Townscapes, in Malvar in Batangas.

“We believe sustainable development is not just about building homes, but also about fostering safe and resilient communities,” said Prim Nolido, President and COO of Pueblo de Oro. “This partnership with August Energy NetZero Inc. is a natural extension of our mission to integrate renewable energy into our operations and uplift the communities we serve.”

This initiative builds on PDO’s earlier solar efforts, including installations at Pueblo Golf’s Bag Drop Building and the Townsquare commercial center in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. The company has also donated solar panel systems and solar-powered streetlights to partner barangays in Malvar and Batangas City, reinforcing its role as a sustainability advocate in the property development sector.|
