Entrapment operation na nauwi sa madugong enkwentro, 2 patay

 BALAYAN, Batangas – HUMANTONG sa madugong engkwentro ang isang entrapment operation na ikinasa ng mga tauhan ng Balayan Municipal Police Station at Provincial Highway Patrol Team na nagresulta pa sa pagkamatay ng dalawang katao nitong Huwebes ng madaling-araw, Hulyo 26.

Sa ulat ni PCInsp. Melvin Molina Balba, hepe ng Balayan MPS kay PSSupt. Edwin A. Quilates, Provincial Director, nagkasa umano ng entrapment operation ang otoridad laban sa mga suspek na umano’y aktibo sa illegal drug trade ngunit kagaad na pinaputukan ng mga suspek ang mga operatiba na kung kaya’t nakipagputukan na rin ang mga otoridad.

 

Matapos ang palitan ng putok, humandusay sa kahabaan ng Batangas City-Palico Highway sa bahagi ng Barangay Lanatan sa bayang ito ang dalawang suspek na kaagad namang isinugod sa Medical Center Western Batangas ngunit idineklara ring dead on arrival ng mga attending physicians na sina Dr. Carl De Castro at Dra. Asuncion Arada.

Kinilala ni Police Chief Inspector Balba ang isa sa nasawing suspek na si Christopher Macalaguim Macalalad alyas “Topek”; samantalang wala pang pagkikilanlan sa kasamahan nito.

Nabatid pa na si Macalalad ay dati nang naaresto at nakulong noong Pebrero 5, 2014 sa kasong paglabag sa R.A. 9165 o anti-illegal drug act at kasong pagnanakaw.|#BALIKAS_News
