Ejercito, hinikayat ang mga magulang na maglunsad ng ‘giyera laban sa tigdas’

HINIKAYAT ni reelectionist Senador JV Ejercito ang mga magulang na maglunsad ng “giyera laban sa tigdas” sa pamamagitan ng pagpapabakuna sa kanilang mga anak.

“Sa mga magulang, pabakunahan na natin ang ating mga baby and children against measles and other vaccine-preventable diseases. Go to health centers and government hospitals immediately and have your kids immunized, it is free,” sabi nito sa isang statement.

Ayon kay Ejercito, kailangan umanong mga magulang mismo ang manguna ng laban kontra sa naturang sakit na nagdulot na ng kamatayan na karamihan ay mga bata.

“I am calling on parents to declare ‘war on measles.’ Parents are the first line of defense and we have to act now before the measles enters into our houses,” aniya.

Ang panawagan ay ginawa ni Ejercito, binansagang “Mr. Healthcare” dahil sa pagsusulong nito ng Universal Health Care measure, makaraang umapela si Presidente Duterte sa mga magulang na pabakunan ang kanilang mga anak laban sa tigdas.

“The death count due to measles must stop now. Vaccination will save children’s lives,” sabi nito.|
