Elementary students lumahok sa art workshop ng City Library

LUNSOD BATANGAS  — Upang maging kapak-ipakinabang ang bakasyon sa mga bata, nagsasagawa ang Batangas City Public Library and Information Center ng libreng Do It Yourself Children Summer Art Workshop simula April 10 para sa mga batang edad siyam hanggang 10 taong gulang.

May 35 estudyante na nasa grades 4 at 5 mula sa pampublikong paaralan ng barangay Maapaz, Barangay 6 at Lingap Pangarap centers ang nagsipagtapos sa naturang workshop na ginanap noong May 11 sa ABC Building.

Ayon kay City Librarian Mila Silang , layunin din nito na maihanda ang mga bata sa darating na pasukan kung saan sila ay tinuturuang mag drawing, coloring, paper folding, dancing, at singing. Tinuturuan din silang madebelop ang tiwala sa sarili at pakikisalamuha sa kapwa.

Napiling most active participants sina April Sastrillo at Ma. Racel A. Sena, most creative participtants naman sina Juan Joseph Carcino at Zoel Jake Barbolino.

Naging panauhin sa closing ceremony sina Punong Barangay Mabel Santos ng Maapaz, Arthur de Tores ng Barangay 6 at Ma. Victoria Gracia Mendoza, executive director ng Lingap Pangarap Center bilang pagsuporta sa partisipasyon ng mga bata.|(PIO Batangas City)
