Food assistance, sinimulang ihatid sa mga barangay ng Batangas City

NAGSIMULA na nitong Miyerkules, March 18, ang City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) sa pamamahagi ng food supplies at iba pang items sa mga tinukoy na mahihirap na pamilya sa barangay.

Unang ipinamahagi ng CSWDO ang mga pagkain at hygiene kits sa Barangay Balete at Tingga Itaas.

Naihatid na rin ang mga katulad na ayuda sa Isla Verde kung saan tig-mahigit 300 pamilya ang nakatanggap ng family food packs sa limang barangay kagaya ng San Agustin Silangan, San Agustin Kanluran, San Antonio, Liponpon at San Andres habang 350 pamilya naman sa Barangay San Agapito. Bukod sa pagkain, ang bawat barangay ay binigyan rin ng tig-100 hygine kits, 5- gallon drinking water at 25 cases ng bottled water.

Ganito rin ang inihatid sa barangay Tulo cluster kung saan may siyam na barangay ang nakinabang.

Ang mga food supplies na ito ay inihahatid ng CSWDO sa mga itinalagang staging areas sa barangay cluster kung saan ang mga punong barangay at child development workers ang magkatulong na namamahagi nito.|BNN / Ulat ni Marie V. Lualhati
