Public school teachers of Batangas City’s Coastal District gets free WIFI modems from KEILCO

BATANGAS City – A TOTAL of 168 units of wifi modems were donated by Kepco Ilijan Corporation (KEILCO) to the school teachers of Coastal District of Batangas City. 

The first wave of donations was given last August 7 to Iijan Integrated National High School, Ilijan Elementary School and Lilingiwan Elementary School. 

Just recently, KEILCO extended their donations to the other neighboring schools namely Dela Paz Itaas Elementary School, Dela Paz Proper Elementary School, Dela Paz Pulot Elementary School, Mabacong Elementary School, Pagkilatan Elementary School, Payiran Bilao Elementary School, Simlong Elementary School, Talahib Pandayan Elementary School, Tibig Elementary School and Talahib Pandayan National High School. 

The turn-over of said donation was held at the Bulwagang Ala-EH of the Department of Education, Division of Batangas City, October 5. The items were handed by Ms. Wendy C. Bautista, Assistant Manager for Community and Public Relations of Kepco Ilijan Corporation and was received by the team of school heads of recipient schools led by Dr. Joepi Falqueza, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent.

Under the new normal, public school teachers who are loaded with tasks to monitor their students studying under blended modalities still needs reliable internet connection in attending webinars or in monitoring their students studying their modules.| – BNN
