Quarantine violators, hinuli’t ibinilad sa araw

BATANGAS City — HINULI ng magkasanib na pwersa ng Batangas City PNP, BFP Batangas City at ng mga tauhan ng DSS at TDRO ang halos 100 pasaway o mga umabag sa enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) nitong Martes, Mayo 5.

Mula sa mga barangay ng Cuta, Sta Clara at Balete, hinuli ang mga nasa labas ng kani-kanilang mga bahay at isinakay sa dalawang bus at dalawang van saka dinala sa harap ng cityhall.

Sila ay pinatayo sa ilalim ng araw sa loob ng tatlong oras habang pinapaliwanagan ng pulis tungkol sa mga batas na kanilang nilabag habang nasa ilalim ng ECQ ang lungsod.

Maaari silang magsagawa ng community service o maaaring makasuhan ng Disobedience and Resistance to Persons in Authority na may parusang isang buwan at isang araw hanggang anim na buwan na kulong dahil sa paglabag sa RA 11332 o An Act Providing Policies and Prescribing Procedures on Surveillance and Response to Notifiable Diseases, Epidemics, and Health Events of Public Health Concern, and Appropriating Funds Therefor, Repealing for the Purpose Act No. 3573, Otherwise Known as the “Law on Reporting of Communicable Diseases.| [Mula sa ulat at larawan ng PIO Batangas City]
