SM inks partnership with colleges in Batangas

SM Malls in Lipa, Batangas City and Lemery sealed its first academic partnership in Batangas through a Memorandum of Agreement signed on Sept. 29 with Lipa City Colleges and Rizal College of Taal on Sept 30, 2022.

The agreement fosters mutual benefit along recruitment and job placement, internship program and learning session.

During the ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing at Lipa City Colleges, its School Director, Mr. Aldwin Jose shared that the need to collaborate and synergize with and among individuals and organizations has become imperative with age old difficulties and new challenges continuously bombarding the society at all levels.

The chances of survival, growth, and innovation increase in thousand fold thru partnership, with the sharing of best practices and implementing and compassing comprehensive programs.

Present at the MOA signing with Rizal College of Taal were (L-R) SM Center Lemery Mall Manager Rosalinda Gabriel and Human Resources Manager Sheila Marie Ojeda and SM South 4 Regional Operations Manager Juan Marius Cortez, together with Rizal College of Taal officials, Vice President Hector N. Lota and Human Resources Manager Leonilo P. Andal.|

“It is such a pleasure and privilege to witness SM and LCC coming together towards the achievement of a common goal, sustainable growth and positively impact our society today and the generations to come,” Mr. Jose added.

With the academic partnership, SM aims to help qualified students learn and take part in the company’s internship programs and learning sessions to strengthen their knowledge and skills in preparation for future career, as well as assist for job placements.|-BNN/pr
