MANSALAY, ORIENTAL MINDORO – The Social Security System (SSS) Calapan Branch assisted more than 100 members here as the local SSS office participated in the one-stop shop of government services during the Philippine Statistics Authority’s (PSA) 35th Civil Registration Month on 12 February 2025.

SSS Acting Branch Head Redentor A. Imperial said that SSS brought its eWheels to the event to help members and prospective members in their SSS transactions.

Imperial explained that SSS e-Wheels is an enhanced on-site initiative offering SSS members and non-members an alternative venue for SSS transactions through vehicles, laptops and SSS branch personnel in grassroots communities. Among the services offered by SSS e-Wheels to Mindoreños were updating of member data, compliance to the Annual Confirmation of Pensioners (ACOP) Program, My.SSS registration and generation of Payment Reference Number (PRN).

He added that SSS e-Wheels provided convenience to members because they no longer have to visit the branch office for their SSS-related concerns.

“While it is meant to extend membership and services in far-flung areas, the SSS e-Wheels Program also promoted the value of being an SSS member. It was an opportunity to give our stakeholders accurate and relevant information on SSS benefits and programs and teach them how to navigate our online platforms such as the My.SSS Portal and SSS Mobile App,” he noted.

He concluded that SSS e-Wheels is set to visit the towns of Bongabong, Roxas, and Bulalacao to bring SSS services closer to Mindoreños residing far from the town center this February.|-PR
