BATARAZA, Palawan — IN celebration of the town’s 61st Founding Anniversary, the Social Security System (SSS) extended its services to townsfolk here by bringing the SSS e-Wheels during the Serbisyo Publiko Fair on January 27.

SSS Puerto Princessa facilitated 117 transactions of 98 members and non-members during the said job fair, bringing SSS services to grassroot communities.

SSS Puerto Princessa Branch Head Abdultalib Abirin said that among the services offered by the SSS eWheels include My.SSS registration, generating Payment Reference Number (PRN) for contribution and loan payments, verification of contribution records, and updating of personal information.

“Our main goal is to bring SSS services closer to last mile communities like here in Bataraza town, which is four to five hours away from Puerto Princesa City. We are committed to go an extra mile in delivering essential government services to our current and future members and pensioners,” Abirin said.

Moreover, Abirin said that SSS also took the opportunity to urge Bataraza residents to save more through the MySSS Pension Booster. “We also encourage them to register on the My.SSS Portal so they can easily access their SSS records and submit their benefit and loan applications without the need to visit an SSS branch office,” he concluded.
