Tanauan athletes, pasok na sa Asia Pacific Region Tournaments

TANAUAN City – PASOK na sa gaganaping Asia Pacific Region Tournaments sa South Korea at China ngayong buwan ng Hunyo mga Tanaueñong manlalaro ng baseball matapos masungkit ang kampeonato sa Little League Philippine Series National Finals na ginanap sa Koronadal City, South Cotabato,  Mayo 17- 26.

Una’y muling pinatunayan ng buong delegasyon ng lungsod na karapat-dapat isigaw sa kanila ang mga katagang ““Tanaueño, The Best Ka!” matapos nilang mamayagpag sa nasabing torneo.

Sa score na 12-2, tinapos ng Tanauan City Baseball Major team ang laro laban sa International Little League Association of Manila (ILLAM). Pinadapa naman ng Junior Baseball team ang koponan ng Cebu City sa“score”na10-0.

Dahil dito, aabante na ang mga ito at magpapakitang gilas na sa Asia pacific Region Tournaments gaya ng nabanggit.

Samantala, nasungkit ng Tanauan City ang 1st Runner Up sa kategoryang Baseball Minor (10 & under) at 2nd Runner Up naman ang mga koponan ng Senior Baseball Teams.

Bigo man ang Tanauan City Softbelles na muling makabilang sa mga koponan na haharap para sa Softball World Series ngayong taon, nag-uwi pa rin naman ng karangalan ang mga ito makaraang magwaging 2nd runner-up sa naturang National Finals.|May ulat ni Louise Ann C. Villajuan
