Crime volume sa lunsod bumaba sa unang kalahati ng taon

BATANGAS City – BUMABA ang crime volume with vehicular accidents sa lunsod na ito mula 1,260 noong Enero-Hunyo 2017 hanggang 1,172 ng kagayang panahon ngayong 2018 o pagbaba ng 88 kaso.

Sa kanyang report sa pagpupulong ng Technical Working Group at City Advisory Council, inilahad ni Batangas City Police Officer in Charge PSupt. Sancho Celedio na sa unang kalahating taon ng 2018, ang vehicular accidents ay umabot sa 892 habang ang index crimes ay 114 at ang non-index ay 166.

Ang mga index/8 focus crimes ay: physical injuries (40), theft (21), murder (19), robbery (18), motor- napping (8), rape (4), homicide (3) at carnapping (1).
Ang average monthly crime rate ay 13.90%, ang crime clearance efficiency ay 87.86% at ang crime solution efficiency ay 60.71%.

Ang 10 nangungunang barangay na pinakamarami ang focus crimes ay ang Pob-lacion (24 barangays), Alangilan, Balagtas, Sta. Clara, Cuta, Kumintang Ibaba, Pallocan Kanluran, Bolbok, Calicanto at Tulo.

Sa Anti-Illegal Drugs campaign, 82 operations ang naisagawa, 131 personalidad ang naaresto at nakumpiska ang 133.95 gramo ng shabu at 15.57 gramo ng marijuana na lahat ay may estimated value na P531,128.50.

Sa Oplan Tambay, nahuli subalit hindi ikinulong ang 28 nag-iinom, 20 naninigarilyo, at 27 nakahubad sa publiko, 15 sa paglabag sa curfew at 19 na iba pa.

Sa anti-illegal gambling, nakapagsagawa ng 35 operasyon kung saan 106 katao ang naaresto at may P11,335 ang nakumpiskang pera.

Nanawagan si Celedio sa mga mamamayan na i-report agad sa pulis ang anumang nalalamang krimen upang ito ay masolusyunan. Mahalaga aniya ang tulong ng buong komunidad sa kapulisan sa pagtugon sa kriminalidad at pagsugpo nito.|#BALIKAS_News
