Gulayan sa paaralan, muling nilinang sa Tanauan City

PORMAL na inilunsad ng Pamahalaang Lungsod na pinamumunuan ni Mayor Angeline Sweet Halili, sa pamamagitan ng Tanggapan ng Panlungsod na Agrikultor na pinangangasiwaan ni G. Renato Cunanan, ang proyektong “Masustansyang Gulay para sa Pamayanan, Hatid ng Bayanihan Dito sa Ating Gulayan sa Paaralan” noong Marso 17, 2021 sa Ambulong Elementary School.

Naisakatuwaparan ang proyekto sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng naturang tanggapan ng lokal na pamahalaan, 1st Batangas Provincial Mobile Force Company (BPMFC) – 3rd Maneuver Platoon na pinangungunahan ni PLT Warley Flor Contreras at DepEd-Tanauan City sa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ni Schools Division Superintendent Rogelio F. Opulencia at koordinasyon ni G. Romel G. Villanueva ng Division Social Mobilization and Networking.

Layunin ng proyektong ito na maitayo at mapaganda muli ang Gulayan sa Paaralan (GSP) sa iba’t ibang barangay na nasasakupan ng lungsod upang magkaroon ng magandang kalidad ng gulay na ibibigay sa mga “undernourished” na mag-aaral gayundin sa komunidad. 

Kabilang sa mga paaralan na makikinabang sa programa ang Ambulong Elementary School, Sulpoc Elementary School, Pres. J.P. Laurel National High School, Laurel Elementary School, Natatas National High School at Ma. Paz Elementary School.| – Maireen Jenzen Nones
