The City of Calaca proudly upholds its dedication to embracing the spirit of Christmas by launching its annual celebration, Paskuhan sa Lungsod ng Calaca 2023 with the theme “Pasko Mula Sa Puso, Handog Sa Kapwa, Tamang Gawa.” As the city prepares for this festive occasion, residents and tourists can expect an array of activities that reflect the culture of the holiday season in the City of Calaca.

At the heart of this celebration is the much-awaited Christmas Lights Display. The city will come alive with the spirit of Christmas through its vibrant decorations and dazzling lights, creating a magical ambiance that will spread cheers among attendees.

Moreover, the annual event aims to strengthen and reinforce the character traits promoted by the City of Calaca, namely, Faithfulness, Creativity, Empathy, Courage, Patriotism, Integrity, Resilience, Hospitality, Discipline, Respect, Responsibility, and Gratefulness.

As a treat, the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation Choir Group will serenade guests with melodious renditions of classic Christmas carols, enriching the joyous atmosphere.

During this event, the city will be unveiling its new Christmas ID, entitled, “Pasko mula sa Puso” followed by the Tama ang Gawa Dance Presentation by its homegrown talent, Sining Calakan Performing Arts Group, showcasing the creativity and spirit of community.

The highlight and most exciting part of this momentous occasion is the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas Display of the city that promises to impress all attendees.

Adding to the grandeur of the event, GMA Kapuso Artists, Rabiya Mateo, Jerick Gonzales, Paul Salas, and Jake Vargas, will grace the event, providing entertainment and adding star power to the whole celebration.

Mayor Nas Ona continues to deliver smiles to every Calacazen by bringing the joy of Christmas through Paskuhan sa Lungsod ng Calaca. It serves as a testament to the city’s commitment to nurturing a community founded on the principles of togetherness, merriment, and service to others.
