CAMP BGEN VICENTE P. LIM – The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) 4A revealed that two witnesses personally appeared and coordinated with the Special Investigation and Tracker Team (SITT) “CAMILON” to provide valuable information to assist in the ongoing investigation on Catherine Camilon’s disappearance. The witnesses willingly provided their sworn statements, which are expected to play a crucial role in uncovering the truth about the disappearance of Camilon.

The two concerned citizens who came forward on Monday, November 6 have provided valuable insights and information that may hold the key to solving the case. Recognizing the significance of their testimony, they willingly provided sworn statements detailing what they know about the situation.

The witnesses disclosed that on the night of October 12, 2023, they passed by Sta. Catalina Subdivision going to Bauan, Batangas on board a motorcycle coming from a friend’s house when they decided to stop on the side of the road for personal necessity. Accordingly, they saw three male persons carrying a female body transferred from a gray Nissan Juke into a red Honda SUV.

Further, according to them, one of the male persons confronted them at gunpoint while ordering them to leave the area immediately. Out of fear, said witnesses hurriedly left the area.

Said witnesses also identified one of the male persons carrying the female body and threatened them at gun point after series of questions and presentations of several pictures including the Person of Interest and his known associates. They also identified the Nissan Juke used by the victim on the day of her disappearance as the same vehicle they saw that night, including the red Honda SUV.

PBGEN PAUL KENNETH T LUCAS said that the involvement and cooperation of these witnesses are expected to significantly contribute to the ongoing efforts to locate Catherine.

The Police Regional Office CALABARZON reassures the community and the family of Catherine Camilon that every possible resources and efforts are being invested to resolve this case and bring closure to the incident. “The information provided by these concerned citizens is a valuable step forward in the pursuit of truth and justice,” said PBGEN LUCAS.
