Election protest laban kay Mayor Nas Ona, ibinasura ng korte

CALACA, Batangas — BUNSOD ng kawalan ng sapat na dahilan para suportahan ang akusasyon ng iregularidad sa nakalipas na May 2022 National and Local Elections, ibinasura na ng korte ang Election Protest Case No. 2022-01 na inihain ni dating Calaca vice mayor Reynante Macalindong laban kay reelected Mayor Sofronio Nas Ona, Jr.

Sa dalawang pahinang Order na pirmado ng Kagalang-galang na Hukom, Cristino E. Judit, presiding judge ng Regional Trial Court – Branch 10 sa bayan ng Balayan, Batangas, walang substantial recovery of votes pabor kay Macalindong sa 19 pilot clustered precints na prinotesta ni Macalindong.

Sa halip aniya na mapalaki ng nagprotesta ang kaniyang boto ay nakalamang pa ng talong (3) boto si Ona, dahilan para itigil na ang revision of ballots.
