LUNSOD BATANGAS – HINDI na umabot sa itinakdang filing of Certificate of Candidacy si Kagawad Glenn Aldover matapos itong bawian ng buhay pasado alas-siete y media ng umaga, Oktubre 10, Miyerkules sa St. Camillus de Lelis Hospital sa lunsod na ito.
Batay sa nakalap na impormasyon ng BALIKAS News, isinugod sa nasabing pagamutan ang kagawad Miyerkules ng umaga matapos itong atakehin sa puso. Sinikap i-revive ng mga attending physicians si Aldover ngunit binawian na rin ito ng buhay.
Si Aldover, 61, na isa ring doktor ng medisina, ay nakatakda sanang maghain ng kaniyang kandidatura sa pagka-kagawad muli kasama ng mayoriya ng mga kasapi ng Sangguniang Panlunsod sa ilalim ng Nacionalista Party (NP).
Pahayag ng mga kasamahang kagawad, hindi nila akalain na maagang lilisan ang kagawad sapagkat kita nilang masaya pa itong nakilahok sa kanila sa pagdalo sa ilang mahahalagang gawain sa lunsod noong Martes gaya ng selebrasyon ng mga Senior Citizens, committee hearing sa Sangguniang Panlunsod at pagdalo sa regular na sesyon.
