BATANGAS — A seasoned lady lawyer filed her Certificate of Candidacy seeking to be the representative of the 2nd District of Batangas on her birthday, at the Provincial Election Office at the Caapitol grounds, Batangas City  on Sunday, October 3.

Atty. Gerville Reyes-Luistro [a.k.a. Jinky Bitrics] filed here COC under Nationalist People’s Coalition together with her husband, incumbent municipal mayor Noel Bitrics Luistro of the Municipality of Mabini.

Luistro said that in her first attempt to enter politics, she’s banking on the successful developments that her husband’s administration has delivered to the people of Mabini, and her rich experience as a lawyer, a mother, a wife and as municipal administrator of Mabini town.

If given the opportunity to get elected, Luistro said that she will focus on equal opportunity on scholarship programs among the Batangueño youth, and on health services.| – Joenald Medina Rayos / BNN
