TWO of the SM malls in the Batangas province showed a pro-active role in the prevention of the 2019 Nobel Corona Virus (NCov) spread as a total of 40 alcohol dispensers are placed in all of the comfort rooms and entrances of SM City Batangas and SM City Lipa.
According to Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP), while there is no specific anti-viral treatment for NCov, one way to prevent the virus from spreading is through proper hand washing and sanitizing using 60% alcohol.
Mall goers are encouraged to sanitize their hands upon entering the mall and after using the comfort rooms. Aside from the alcohol dispensers, continuous sanitation of areas with frequent customer contact such as handrails and elevator buttons are being observed throughout the malls.| – BNN
