THE year 2020 was a very challenging year for the whole world and everyone had been looking forward to 2021. Though excited to leave behind all the tough experiences in the past year, AP Renewables Inc. (APRI) team members  made sure to end 2020 with love and  positive energy, by sharing their blessings to APRI’s  contractor-employees for janitorial,  driving, and security services.

Both APRI-Tiwi and MakBan have a total of 215 contractors who were greatly affected by the pandemic most especially during the first quarter of the previous year due to their nature of work — the “no work, no pay policy.” Furthermore, those who are living in Bicol were really challenged the most when the typhoon Usman hit the province and greatly affected their families.

Despite challenges, these unsung heroes continued to render service to support APRI’s operations, day and night.

In showing appreciation for their untiring support, APRI employees were able to raise a total of PHP107,500 from the different fund-raising initiatives that can be very useful for its annual APRI Christmas Outreach activity. This initiative aims to bring a merry and prosperous Christmas celebration to its host beneficiaries. This time, APRI chose to surprise their Ates and Kuyas by giving them a simple noche buena package that they can share with their family members during Christmas.

Thank you and more power”, said by EZRA Personnel Mark Ely Navarete.

The intimate and heart-felt activity was held last December 18 (MakBan) and 22 (Tiwi) wherein limited APRI representatives attended in compliance to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

“May this simple gift-giving remind us of our love for our neighbors and to always appreciate all the efforts of one another,  no matter how big or small,” said APRI Vice President for Corporate Services  Noemi G. Sebastian.|
