NYP and NYPi strengthens partnership with DOST-CALABARZON, BatStateU

A two-day visit has renewed the three agencies’ commitment to collaboration and innovation.

Last July 31- August 1, officials from Nanyang Polytechnic International (NYPi) headed by their CEO-Dr. Henry Heng, and Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) headed by the Director of the School of Chemical and Life Sciences- Dr. Joel Lee visited some parts of Laguna, Batangas, and Cavite.

Nanyang Polytechnic and Nanyang Polytechnic International officers together with Dr. Alex Madrigal conduct a site visit at Vegetari Vegetarian’s processing site.|

The two-day event consisted of meetings with the top management of DOST-CALABARZON and Batangas State University. Site Visits to Vegetari Vegetarian, St. Mary’s Aquafarm, Active Microtechnology Solutions, and Farmtec Foods, Inc.- all medium and small enterprises within Cavite and Laguna were also conducted.

Through the series of meetings and site visits, joint projects are already in the works. The fields of Food Technology and Innovation, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, and Human Resource Development seem to be the evident working topics of the agencies as of the moment.
